Terms of Service
DRAFT, pending attorney review. Version 2026-10-30-draft2.
1. Who provides the service. CraftBench (craftbenchapp.com) is provided by Rajarshi Majumder (individual), Richardson, Texas, USA ("we"). Contact: [email protected].
2. Access. Accounts are created by invitation. You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything done under your account. Tell us at once if you think your account has been used without permission.
3. Your data. You keep ownership of the business data you enter (orders, clients, products, prices). You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you. You can export it at any time from the app.
4. Client information. If you enter details of your own clients (names, emails, delivery details), you confirm you have their permission and a lawful reason to do so, and you are responsible for how you use that information.
5. Acceptable use. Do not use the service for anything unlawful, to send unsolicited messages, to attempt to access other businesses' data, or to disrupt the service.
6. Pilot service, provided as is. The service is in a pilot stage. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copies using the export feature.
7. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (during the free pilot, zero).
8. Changes and ending. We may change or stop the service, or these terms, with notice in the app. You may stop using it at any time and ask us to delete your account and data.
9. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
Privacy Policy

What we collect. Your account email and a securely hashed password (handled by our sign-in provider; we never see your password); your business profile (name, tagline, contact details, logo); the orders, client details, products, prices and settings you enter; technical error records (time, the part of the app, and an error message with email addresses removed).
Why. Only to provide the service: scheduling, tracking, invoicing drafts, analytics and support.
Who processes it. Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage, hosted in the USA); the app hosting provider; Google, only if you connect a Google calendar. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Security. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our providers. Each business can only see its own data; this is enforced by the database. Passwords are stored only in hashed form.
Emails. The app prepares invoice and invite emails as drafts in your own mail app; it does not send email on your behalf. The sign-in service sends password reset codes to your account email.
Keeping and deleting data. We keep your data while your account is active. Ask [email protected] to export or delete it; we will confirm deletion within 30 days. Backups may hold copies for a short period after deletion.
Your clients' data. You are responsible for telling your clients how you use their details.
